Activities
Activities at Mack's Inn and the local Island Park Area
- Site-seeing at Yellowstone National Park (25 Miles from Mack's Inn), Virginia City and Nevada City, Montana. Quake Lake, Lewis and Clark Caverns, Mesa Falls, Harriman State Park.
- Float trips down the Henry's Fork of the Snake River
- Fishing in rivers, streams and many of the lakes within the area.
- Mountain biking on many of the bike trails.
- Basketball, Jogging, other physical activities.
- Canoeing, paddle boat rides, water fights.
- Four Wheeling on trails that are designated for that purpose.
- Boating on the lakes. Henry's Lake 10 miles North, Island Park Res. 5 miles South.
- Back packing and hiking in the mountains all around the area of Mack's Inn.
- Snowmobile on many of the groomed trails or head out over the open flats with 500 square miles to ride.
- Cross country skiing has it's rewards when enjoying the many groomed and designated trails for cross country skiing.
- Ice fishing is a great pastime for some winter enthusiasts.
- Island Park has a great deal of winter time activities for the winter sportsman.
